The thematic programmes

The EIT Urban Mobility Market Readiness Accelerator encompasses several thematic EU-funded programmes, implemented through strategic partnerships, designed to take early-stage mobility startups to the next level. We seek early-stage startup teams with innovative business ideas aimed at reducing congestion and increasing efficiency in the transport system.

This includes solutions that make commuting faster or more enjoyable, accelerate the transition to low- or zero-emission forms of transport, and address a wide range of mobility-related challenges.

Future Mobility

The programme from Accelerate2Move is open to all cutting-edge and high-impact technologies such as artificial intelligence (AI)-driven platforms, blockchain, 5G, vehicle-to-everything (V2X) or Internet of Things (IoT).

Inclusive Mobility

Focused on addressing a range of existing issues as well as to ensure that developed innovations are inclusive, the Better Mobility Accelerator programme will be working with entrepreneurs with the aim to create a frontrunning incubation centre for inclusive mobility.

Smart Mobility

The programme opens the possibility for startups to engage in an intensive six-month programme with one of the three partners spanning the smart mobility ecosystem from Sweden and Germany, to Israel.

Sustainable Cities and Clean Mobility

This programme is for startups facing the challenges of creating more sustainable freight and goods transportation in cities as well as working toward overall sustainability in city logistics.

Urban Air Mobility

With a consortium made of international companies and cities with expertise in the field of mobility, aeronautics and developing urban air mobility, the UAM Plazza Accelerator programme is looking for startups in urban air mobility.
